Traditional charity has a trust problem. Donors write cheques to organizations, then hope the money reaches the people who need it. There’s rarely any proof. Over time, that uncertainty erodes the impulse to give at all.
Scan Support is built to fix this with technology already in everyone’s pocket. Donors give directly to verified recipients through a category-restricted virtual card. Every spending category is pre-approved, and donors see how their gift is allocated — with receipt-level verification coming in Phase 2. The recipient spends freely, without shame, within a framework built for their needs. We’re piloting first in the Greater Toronto Area.
